Project Overview

Through guided monitoring activities, including night game drives where appropriate, participants learn about lions and other carnivores within the conservation landscape. The activity introduces practical carnivore monitoring while exploring the challenges and importance of conserving predators in landscapes shared by wildlife, livestock and people.

  • Support monitoring of lions and other carnivores.
  • Develop practical carnivore observation skills.
  • Understand the importance of predator conservation and coexistence.
